My Pink Stilettos:
Ever wished for an
adventurous day from life, ever-wished for a peaceful one, the question is can
life always give you what you desire for?
The answer: Read this
story to find out
“My Pink Stilettos:
Does life always give you what you desire for?”
Storyline:
The story begins with Cara a
young-adventurous girl who is fun loving, vibrant and has always loved a bit of
excitement in life. But there comes a day, just this one day when fortunately,
unfortunately her best friend Alisson’s wedding falls on the same day as her
job interview to her dream job at ‘Bateson’s corp.’ All Cara wishes is that
this one day would run smoothly. But turns out, the day is more than she
would’ve expected it to be. She meets Alex along the way, what part has he got
to play? What is in stored for her in this day? Do we call it fate or fate’s
play? All this and much more in a fun-filled, multitasking, adventurous,
romance book “My Pink Stilettos.”
Touches of
Reality:
The story basically
depicts ‘life’ and what people face in everyday life in context of that ‘one
day’ that Cara has to face. The one day which is bears semblance to an eternity
of life.
People always have ups
and downs in their lives. They have got expectations of life, wishes, dreams,
desires, of what they want to be, of what they want to achieve or of what they
want their life to be like (just like Cara has expectations from this one day,
the one day: in which she wants to finish off with her interview and head off
to enjoy her friend’s wedding). Now, the question is, Do all get what they
desire for? If yes; is it always exactly as they’ve desired it. If No; then
what do they get?
This story also
relates a concept of ‘multitasking’ (and just like Cara’s one day), people in
today’s world have whole lot on their hands then they can handle. From women
who work full-time and still manage time for their family, kids, home-chores;
men who are partly divided between jobs and taking their family to an outing,
kids to an amusement park, their ladies to shopping; teenagers who study, work
part-time, finding time for their own life in the middle of this all. Cara had
planned this day in hopes of completing the multiple tasks that were in lined up
for her. But does it go as planned. The answer’s in the story.
At some point the
story also points out the characters’ believing in fate, luck and destiny. But
that’s just a mere viewpoint.
From the Romance aspect
the story points to ‘Love at first sight’, the notion of it being a reality. Does
it really happen? Can it lead to something greater?
In the end the most
important thing, the question asked recurrently throughout the story. Does life
always gives us what we desire? The answer to it may be very clear, but how do
the characters tend to reach it, is meant for the readers to read and find out.
Hope you all enjoy the book!
